The Girls
by Diane Webster

She calls her breasts “The Girls”
and when she fell while roller skating,
“The Girls” cushioned the fall --
good girls.
Obviously she loves them
because unbuttoned blouses
suggest more of an appearance
than glimpses allow --
good girls.
And sometimes black bras
outline “The Girls” under
white shirts like a masked bandit
slinking off with the treasures --
good girls.
